Dedra Wade, President and Founder of Community Partners Commission Association, Inc (CPCA, Inc) created the successful non-for –profit organization as she transitioned from two decades as the Cheif of  New York City Department of Probation Community Service and Community Affairs.
Dedra’s passion to serve the public was evenly matched to her natural ability. Most of Dedra’s personal and professional life has been spent serving the public; developing linkages between the those in need of socal and busness services and service provider organizations; building partnerships and coalitions between community organization and ultimately enhancing the quality of life for the community at large.
Dedra has won recognition and high acclaim from community based organizations, political leaders, clergy and private citizens for her innate skill of transforming  poverty and dependency into self sufficiency and partnerships that strengthen communities
Dedra Grant-Wade’s evolution from the public servant to community leader partnership builder and developer was a natural and predictable growth.
Dedra’s natural purpose to serve and her innate passion for people has always been recognized as the drive that created Community Partners Commission Association, Inc (CPCA, Inc) and the organization’s mission “to create and facilitate community partnerships that increase self sufficiency access to housing, employment and social services.â€
The organization's primary populations and service focus are the elderly, low-income families and those at risk of homelessness.. Literal thousands of community residents and organizations know CPCA, Inc and rely on them to do what there mission profess.

Coretta Scott King Senior ApartmentsÂ
Coretta Scott-King Senior Apartments was conceived by Dedra Wade, President CPCA, Inc. Under her guidance her organization recieved an $8 million dollar grant to create 51 Unts of senior housing in East New York Brooklyn.  The organzation also recieved ownership of $2.5 million dollar lot of formerly city owned property on which they will construct the only 2007 HUD funded Senior Housing in Brooklyn NYC; making theorganization 1 of 5 funded organization in the State of New York.                                            Â
The board, community collaborators contracted affiliates and the community seniors are a team devoted to carrying out the mission and goals of developing and operating affordable life enriching senior housing which will open in 2012
CPCA - East New York Coalition: CPCA coordinates professional organization building workshops and training sessions that allows East New York organizations opportunities that include increased and eligibility for funding, access to funders and increased service delivery and capacity, etc. Many of the organizations become greater assets in their field of service and the community.
CPCA Resource Referral Service provides low income families, seniors citizens and ex-offenders with housing, employment, training, and social services as well as a extensive variety of client specific resources and referral services
CPCA Resource and Referral Database
CPCA Founder and technical team have created a perpetual database to compile and store services, resources and client information. The data is researched and sorted to provide specific information to client’s requesting local and city wide resource and referral services.
East New York Community Resource & Referral Directory
Information compiled in the CPCA Resource and Referral Directory is reviewed and updated by data-entry and technical services staff to provide updated monthly editions of the East New York Community Resource & Referral Directory.
