Community Partners Commission Association, Inc.

Our staff provides daily services at 2318 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. and 281-3 St. Anns Avenue, Bronx, New York. The staff consists of: Resource and Referral Service Director, Resource Specialist, clerical staff, college interns and volunteers. CPCA, Inc volunteers regularly canvas local businesses for available employment, housing and other services. Internet and telephone research is also conducted to update and stay aware of recent changes to services for seniors, low income clients at risk youth and re-entry populatons. Some of the sources of internet and telephone research are Department for the Aging Grand-parents Program, AARP, Department of Labor, HUD, HPD and HRA.

The staff is heavily comprised of volunteers and college interns. The organization has developed linkages and partnerships for college interns, community service workers and volunteers through:

Many of the clients become volunteers in appreciation for services they receive and are called on as community service worker to assist with community event.
