Community Partners Commission Association, Inc. ( CPCA, Inc) is proud of the collaboration with the Center for Court Innovation - Youth Court at CPCA, Inc Community Enrichment Center in Brownsville.

The Center for Court Innovation is renown for the pivotal role they had in Red Hook Brookllyn, where, over a very short period of time, the organization and the strategies for community and resident justice and crime reduction, turned the community around and started a ripple effect of positive quality of life changes and community development.

The Center for Court Innovation staff conduct daily functions that include focus groups, out reach, candidate screening, registration, intake and training for Youth Court participants.

The carefully selected participants are later delegated the duties of operating a youth court under the watchful eye and guidance of trained legal staff.  The are given the responsibility of hearing real low level criminal and community cases after which the deliberate and make decision regarding appropriate handling of persons found guilty. Many of the cases involve family conflict, minor first time crimes commited by youth and low level community violations.
