CPCA,Inc  Recieves more than  $12 Million Dollar Funding

to create Coretta Scott-King Senior Apartments

Community Partners Commission Assoc.,Inc. (CPCA,Inc) is the lead co-sponsore and facilatiing organization for more than $12 million dollars in funding recieved from HUD, HPD, DHCR and local elected official to build Coretta Scott King Senior Apartments; the name selected by communty residents. The organization was also granted ownership of $ 2 million dollar parcel of land( 23,803 sq. ft.) formerly owned by the City at McClancy Place (bet Jerome & Barbey Streets) in East New York Brooklyn.

The great and ever increasing support for the proposed senior housing is an indication that local residents recognize the value of developing senior housing at the property and they welcome the new senior residents. The need for the new senior housing is evident by the expression of support and assistance; In addition to having local low income senior housing, the local residents anticipate increased property values; continued revitalization of the community and enhanced economic growth over the next 10 to 20 years.

Community Partners Commission Association, Inc. (CPCA, Inc.) sponsored of Coretta Scott-King Senior Apartments, have dedicated this project and will continue developing low-income and supportive housing.

The future home of Coretta Scott-King Senior Apartments (at McClancy Place and Jerome Street in Brooklyn) is a 20,500 sq. ft empty lot filled with debris and broken side walks (see photo right). Coretta Scott-King Senior Apartments will be built on this site (see architects rendering above).
